Such a beautiful, historic town
Cape May is a really special seaside town. It's so different from other beach spots with all the incredible Victorian architecture. Just walking around looking at the houses is an activity in itself. It's a peaceful, pretty place to unwind for a few days.
Peaceful and great for nature walks
A wonderful place for a quiet getaway. We spent a lot of time walking the trails at Cape May Point State Park and saw so many different birds. The town was peaceful this time of year, perfect for exploring without the big crowds. Just a lovely, relaxing trip.
Perfect winter escape
Cape May was the perfect winter escape. The town felt so cozy and romantic without the summer rush. We loved strolling down the Washington Street Mall, popping into the little shops and cafes. Had some amazing fresh seafood for dinner. A great spot to reconnect.
Lovely even in the off-season
Even in the winter, the coastline is just beautiful. We took long walks along Cove Beach, collecting shells with the kids. It's a completely different experience when it's cold and quiet. The town is super walkable and feels very safe. A really nice family break.

Had a fantastic weekend trip with friends. The town has a really laid-back feel. We visited a local winery one afternoon which was a lot of fun, and the restaurant scene is great. Tried some delicious Cape May salts; the seafood is top-notch everywhere.
Amazing views and scenery
Such a picturesque town. Climbing the Cape May Lighthouse was totally worth it for the amazing views of the ocean and the point. The whole area is just so clean and well-kept. It's a great place to just walk around and take in the sights. Very relaxing.
